If I set my computer to factory settings will I have to reinstall Linksys?

I'm about to have to wipe my hard drive clean to install a different operating system. I just installed wireless onto my computer. I have a Cisco Linksys and it downloaded Network Magic to my computer. I can save this onto a flash drive, I think. If I do this, can I just put it back on my computer from the flash drive or will linksys not recognize my computer and make me reinstall it? Will this completely mess up everything?
