Does America need a Green Tea Party movement to support our Beautiful Planet?

I know that there are various Environmental Groups, but we need a movement to move us to Green Technology. It is hard for Senators to vote for Green Technology when Big Oil is bankrolling their campaigns. The only way to counteract that is a movement that focuses on Environmental Issues, who will put pressure on Congress to take measures to protect our planet. It is not enough that the President supports Green Technology, the people need form a movement at the Grroots level. The BP Oil Spill should have tought us that.
