Does obama give anyone confidence that he actually knows anything about economics? ?

I listened very closely to what he said during his campaign and now since he won the election, and as an Econ major (B.S. Cornell '88) the man is to be polite, not very astute. I cringe to think of him getting his hands on a trillion+ of our tax dollars. I'm worried that he'll lead us down the path to utter economic destruction. Why do you think the dollar is so weak? It's called debt people. Any econ stimulus plan that does not start with a huge lowering of the corp tax rate here in America is just whistling dixie.
