Is it fair that Lebron got MVP over Durant?

I would say he deserved it. Lebron is a better scorer than Durant but Durant won the scoring title because he took attempted more shots than Lebron this season. Also Lebron not only improved his game but the team around him. Durant mostly improved his own game and the other players did it on their own he did not help them better. His 2.7 ists per game shows that and his defense is not all that great.
