Why do people try to be unique and fit in at the same time?
If people aren't happy with who they are, and want to embark on a depressive never-ending mission of permanently changing their character and status, then pick one or the other for f*cks sake, you can't be unique and fit in at the same f*cking time. American society crams peoples minds with subconscious desires of becoming one of a kind, like Muhammad Ali or Niko Bellic, but not James Bond because he's an unamusing as*hole. But at the same time that same confused 15 year old is sulking in soltitude because his hopes of emulating famous unique eccentric personalities has ultimatley resulted in him not quite fitting in with his fellow 15 year old Facebook addicted, rap listening, emo hairstyling, crime-free, excruciatingly boring peers. It would make more sense that someone uses up their only chance at living/ 70-ish year sentence on earth, to live as an eccentric character rather than waste half a century of years just trying to fit in and be as f*cking boring as the people who drove him to get his kicks via sniffing fat rails of Bolivia in the first place.
