Is turkey jerkey a good healthy snack for me?
It may be a low calorie snack, but make sure you look at the sodium content. The more sodium the more bloated you will be. Salt attracts water. However, a good thing is that your young so u don't have to worry about heart disease or blood pressure yet which then sodium would be completely bad for u. If you like peanut er go for a tablespoon of that with either celery sticks or carrots. Fruit is a good snack between meals especially in school b/c of the natural sugar which is good for you and will actually give you energy.You may want to keep in mind when thinking of whats good for you (not just low calorie b/c its a factor of low cal, low carbs, high protein, and low sugar content) is stay clear of processed foods (such as the jerky and lunch meats) .
